Boasting one of the highest rates of parks per capita, our city invites residents and visitors to revel in the natural beauty of numerous park facilities, perfect for family or group gatherings. The Recreation Department also provides a variety of structured activities for all ages. Guided by the citizen-led Parks, Recreation, and Trees (PRT) Commission, which meets quarterly, the department ensures community input and engagement in all its initiatives.
