Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is a process by which a peroxide based bleaching agent is applied to the surface of the teeth with the use of custom teeth trays. The bleach is left on for a specific amount of time (normally 30 minutes) and then removed.
While over-the-counter teeth whitening systems are a popular option, they are not as effective or as long lasting as professional teeth whitening performed by a cosmetic dentist like Dr. Huxford at Boulder Dental Group. Dr. Huxford does not promote teeth bleaching in one visit (Zoom). It can make teeth very sensitive and damage tooth structure.
