NORCOR facilitates communication between adults in custody and the outside world through a regulated mail system. While anyone can send mail to an adult in custody, certain restrictions apply to maintain security and safety within the facility. Prohibitions include mail from other corrections-monitored facilities, individuals acting as intermediaries between inmates, and victims of crimes for which the inmate is detained. Additionally, command staff may impose restrictions on personal correspondence on a case-by-case basis, ensuring compliance with facility regulations.
