Mission Statement

To manage, provide, and advance the development of information systems, computing, and communication services while promoting and safeguarding the information assets of the Shoshone-Paiute Tribes

Our Primary Functions

The I.T. Department provides support to all programs and departments within the Shoshone-Paiute Tribes Tribal Government and the Owyhee Community Health Facility.

• Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
• Telecommunication

The I.T. Department also oversees a computer lab, located in the Education Center directly behind Owyhee Combined Schools. The computer lab provides a convenient service to students on all academic levels and is accessible to anyone in the community. Students and non-students enjoy open wireless networks which allow users to connect to the internet and browse freely. The computer lab is currently closed due to computer upgrades and COVID-19. We will open soon.
