Meanwhile, Florida ranks 12th in food insecurity and SNAP recipients. United Way of Lake and Sumter Counties is working to build healthier, more resilient communities by increasing access to quality healthcare and preventative care. Our priority is to improve and promote healthier lifestyles, providing access to health services and nutrition resources to support opportunities for a healthy lifestyle for all.
