Current Mission Project: Walter Filtration Buckets for the Dominican Republic. $35 per bucket.

Many Dominican and Haitian family men work 12 hours a day in the sugar can fields to support their families. Every day, the women and children walk to the nearest river to the water source to collect water for cooking, bathing, and drinking. The water is contaminated with bacteria and parasites, but its their only source of water. Providing them with water filtration buckets will help ease their work and give the families a healthier lifestyle.

Help the Sugar Cane workers and families. Suggestion to the ladies: Keep a jar by your sinks. Every time you drink or use clean water, drop a coin in the jar. We will be working together to purchase as many of these buckets as possible to help make this American Baptist Women Project a success.

We have several people outside of our group who want to help with this project and we welcome donations from anyone that would like to help us purchase the filtration buckets for the Dominican Republic.

Revelations 22:17 come! And let him who hears say. come! Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
