Mayor Cory Box has been a dedicated leader in Jenks since his election in 2017, stepping into the role of Mayor in 2021. He is the first mayor in the past decade to be chosen by his council peers to serve two consecutive terms—an acknowledgment of his commitment to the city and its residents. His priorities have remained steadfast: improving roads, enhancing public safety, lowering taxes, and protecting home values.
As Jenks prepares for its next municipal election on April 1, 2025, voters will see only two names on the ballot: Cory Box and Lenhart. It is crucial that we continue the progress made under Mayor Box’s leadership—so when you cast your vote, remember to “Check the Box for Cory Box.”
Beyond his role as mayor, Cory is a man of deep conviction, guided by four core values: Faith, Family, Country, and his beloved city, Jenks America. A true patriot, he dedicated 25 years to the United States Air Force, retiring in 2014.
His extensive background includes a degree in Intelligence Collection, Analysis, and Information Systems Management, studies at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, and two Information Security Certifications from Tulsa University.
Cory’s service extends far beyond city hall. He is the Vice President of The Demand Project, a nonprofit dedicated to combating human trafficking and eliminating online child sexual abuse imagery. He also serves as Chairman of the Jenks Aquarium Authority and is a graduate of both Leadership Jenks and the Jenks Citizen’s Police Academy.
