Medicare Wellness Visits

Medicare annual wellness visits are preventive appointments that help you and your provider create a personalized care plan for the year ahead. Available after the first year of Medicare enrollment, these visits include a review of your medical history, an assessment of health risks, a medication and provider overview, and screenings tailored to your individual needs. Each visit may include measurements such as height, weight, and BMI, as well as cognitive and functional assessments. Based on your results, you’ll receive health guidance and referrals as needed. These visits are designed to adapt with your changing health, supporting long-term, preventive care as you age.
