Deseret Ranches of Florida, primarily recognized for its cattle ranching, also engages in diverse agricultural operations across approximately 1,100 acres of irrigated farmland. Utilizing center pivot irrigation, the ranch cultivates a variety of specialty and feed crops, including sod, cucumbers, wheat, soybeans, black beans, sorghum, and cauliflower. This method not only enhances crop production but also supports sustainable water use by sourcing irrigation water from the Taylor Creek Reservoir and employing a closed-loop system to manage storm water. With plans to expand these irrigated areas, Deseret Ranches continues to exemplify agricultural innovation and environmental stewardship.
